School Party

Sawyer had a Harvest party at school today complete with parade. Jammie was able to attend. The kids paraded around the center--even to the infant room where Caroline was "not so happily sitting". She was a little confused by all the action and customs. Last Sunday we had trunk or treat at our church. Caroline loved it, although she looks less than thrilled in her bunny custom!

Fall Fest

A couple weekends ago we took the kids to a Autumn Fall Fest at a local greenhouse. They could paint pumpkins, walk through straw maze, take a hay ride, pick pumpkins, pet animals, jump on inflatables (etc). We had fun even though it was a little cold that day! Sawyer has really been into football lately. It seems like EVERY night we have to play inside. He has Caroline saying"Foball". She lines up with him and enjoying "running for the touchdown" (which is the carpet square in the living room). Caroline also has been exploring coloring. She loves to draw on the marker table and herself. She must like the tast of the markers as you will see from the pictures!

September happenings

Where did September go? I lots has been happening at our house...back to school, Jammie changing jobs to a school-based P.T., visiting MI, weddings..etc. We did have lots of family time--cuddling, playing in the crib and outside. Both the kids like to play in the crib. Who knows why, but it occupies their time. Caroline enjoyed dancing to the "victrola" at Jammie's parents, Sawyer got a new back pack straight from the AZ Diamond Backs, Sawyer taught me about a big bellies and who has babies, Caroline learned to feed her baby, and GG and Papa visited from NC. We also watched the high school homecoming parade from our front yard. Wow! I know I miss something, but you can see all the happenings from the pics and videos!

Summer wrap up

Well Fall is offically here (well has been for about 2 weeks) so we want to recap the summer. Sawyer got his very own boomerang from down under and enjoyed throwing it! Sawyer wnet fishing. The first time he went, Phillip was not with us, so there is a picture of Sawyer calling daddy and telling him all about it! We enjoyed family time together weather it was at the lake or just hanging out wrestling at home! Enjoy!

Caroline's 1st Birthday and Sawyer's 4th Birthday

Over the summer, Caroline turned one and Sawyer turned four. We celebrated Caroline's b-day a little early since we were headed to "out of town". We had a small gathering at the lake. Butterfiles and flowers was the theme. Jammie made a cute cake. Caroline had her first taste of "sweet" and loved it. Since then she has tried many sweet treats. For Sawyer's birthday, we headed to a pizza place where he got to build his own pizza. It was family night so there was a magician there that did a great job and performed special "tricks" since it was Sawyer's b-day. His acutal b-day (on a Wednesday) was just the warm up to his big bash on Saturday where our back yard and house was transformed into Radiator Springs! Lightning McQueen and all his friends were in attendance. He got a doc dress up suit from GG and Papa and a lots of other toys (race track, McQueen gear/toys, money, hot wheel toys, etc). Enjoy the pictures (better late than never!)
