Snow play Sunday

We had about 3 inches of snow this weekend. We took the LAST chance (so we hope) to play outside this winter. We tried to build a snowman, but the snow was not the packing kind of snow. Sawyer and Phillip played football and we threw snow at each other. Here are some pictures and video clips of the kids playing in the snow including Caroline's first push on a swing!!!!

Nike gal

We took these pictures the other night after bath. I found this hat in her drawer and could not resist!!!

Carolione Rash

About 10 days ago, Caroline got her first ear infection and the pediatrician put her on amoxicillin. About 4 days later we figured out she is allergic to this antibiotic. She developed a full body rash, but she never acted like it bothered her. Just in case anyone wanted to see her allergic reaction.

Caroline 7months old

Wow! Where does the time go. Our little baby is now 7 mos old and is changing all the time. She is almost 22 lbs and is 27 inches long. She still has her full head of hair and is "talking" tons. She said "mama" for the first time yesterday--she has been saying "DaDa" for several weeks. She squeels and squaks in delight and displeasure. She had her first ear infection last week and yesterday broke out in a terrible rash. She has an allergy to the medicine they say! Caroline is starting to become mobile as she pushes herself at least 5 ft backwards, turns 180 degrees on her bottom, transtions sitting to belly by herself and grabs at anything and everything. She is such a sweetheart!

Snowy Valentine Day

We woke this morning to about 3 inches of white snow--too bad it was not red that may have been okay! Phillip took Sawyer to the Men's pancake breakfast and paking party at church. They put together care packages for the college students and military folks. Sawyer had M-n-M pancakes, milk and sausage. He made Caroline and Mommy Valentine cards. He got a kick out of taking some snacks to pack in the care boxes. While they were gone, Jammie hide 3 gifts around the house so when Sawyer got home, he had a little Valentine's day hunt. Phillip brought Jammie a single red rose (very sweet). One of Sawyer's gifts was the game Luckey Duck. He has been playing a lot so far today. Later this evening we plan on staying in and Jammie is making a good dinner with some cherry pie! Oh by the way...this posting is for Bethany as she is most likely shocked that we have posted for 2 days in a row!!!! Happy Valentine's Day sister/Aunt Bethany. We love you!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Caroline has been a little under the weather. She has a fever of 100 -101, nasal congestion and an ear infection. Sawyer has been so sweet to her since she has been ill. He gives her kisses and says "This will make her feel better." Here are some pictures of her last weekend when she was feeling her jolly self.

A New Snow Sport

This weekend was beautiful for Ohio in the winter. It was 50 Saturday and Sunday. We took the kids outside, Sawyer rode his bike, we even went to the playground. It was wonderful to run off some energy. This afternoon, Phillip and Sawyer may have invented a new winter sport. See the video clip below.
