Phillip's Birthday

Yesterday (Saturday) was Phillip's 35th Birthday..Happy Birthday darling. Jammie and Sawyer made breakfast for him, then gave him some small gifts. He then went to the golf shop to purchase some materials to make a new club (well lengthen a club) while Jammie took the kids to the park. Jammie and Saywer made him "Tarheel" brownies--yummy! That evening, the adults went to dinner and a movie.

On Friday, we grilled out. Jammie found a kids grill and playfood at a "sale", so Sawyer really enjoyed grilling out with daddy and giving us all "diet cokes". He is really into pretend food making and "tea parties".

Caroline 9 mos

Caroline turned 9 mos old April 14th. Went for her well check 2 weeks ago. She is 24 lbs and 29 1/2 inches long, head circumferance 46 cm. All in the 98 - >100%. She is a growing girl (as the doctor said). As you will see from the videos, she has mastered crawling and is starting to walk behind push toys. She even cruises 3 -4 steps along the couch. She "talks" and squeels tons. She is eating all different foods and starting stage 3 foods. She loves her puffs and bitter toasts. She has 5 teeth and when asked "how big is Caroline?", she will raise her hands over her head ( as seen in the pictures). She loves all her big brothers toys, our water bottles, shoes, and her walker. She toddler around outside in the drive way when we are out playing. She likes to move in the walker and not just sit in the stroller!

Easter 2009

Easter 2009 was spent in Rural Hall. We spents lots of time visiting with family. It was Caroline's first Easter, so as we did with Sawyer we had her in a little bunny outfit. She was thrilled:) Sawyer was really into Easter this year as we left carrots for teh Easter Bunny and loved all 3 egg hunts we took him to. The night before Easter, his GG was standing at the kitchen window and shouted, "Sawyer, I just saw the Easter Bunny hopping in the backyard. Hurry we better get to bed so he can come!". Sawyer hopped right to bed.

The Friday before Easter, Jammie's mom and dad came down for a visit. Phillip was out of town, so they came to help out on Friday. Jammie and her mom took the kids to get their picture taken. Sawyer was very good. We can hardly get him to smile at home for pictures. Well he smiles, but it is a cheesy smile! Enjoy!
