Fathers Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend was full of fun things.... Phillip was in TX until Sunday morning, so Jammei and the kids headed to MI on Friday afternoon for some fun with family. Friday, we went to a community pincic. There were hotdogs/hamburgers and a cake walk. Sawyer won some cupcakes! He was very kind and shared with his cousins and one little girl that did not win (who by the way was sad!). On Saturday we celebrated cousin Kyra and Zackary's birthdays. There was a bug hunt, flower planting, "eating dirt", and good old fun. Sawyer have a little help on the bug hunt from his Great Granfather Lott! We arrived back home Sunday, just in time to bring Phillip breakfast and gifts. We then headed to a parade.

We headed to NC the weekend after Memorial Day and we helped Rural Hall celebrate its 25th anniversary of being a town. Sawyer loved all the activities. Earlier this week, I was able to catch Sawyer saying the pledge! There are 2 versions b/c I could not choose which one to post.

Caroline 11 months old

Caroline is 11 months old today! To give an update.....

* She has 6 teeth
* Weighs 24.6 lbs and is about 29 inches
* Is starting table foods. Enjoys watermelon, cheese, corn, green beans, bread, nurti-gran bars, and other "soft foods"
* She is walking 5 - 8 steps and stands for 30 - 45 seconds
* She loves to play "where's Caroline"
* She puts her hand to her ear when she hears someone say "hello". She also does this with cell phone and toy phone
* Smiles with delight when daddy, mommy or big brother come into the room

Sawyer's First Friend B-day party

Mid-May Sawyer was invited to a little friends 4th birthday party. It was at a local gymnastic place. We all were invited and it was close enought that we walked. The kids got to tumble and use the equipment. Sawyer had a blast as most of the kids were from his "school"/daycare. He keeps asking when he can start gymanstics!

Sawyer Swim School

We took Sawyer to "swim school" in the Spring 2 nights a week for 6 weeks. Phillip usually took him and Jammie picked up Caroline and got dinner around. Even though swim school ended almost 2 months ago, we thought the pictures were worthy of posting.
