Old MacDonald and Colors

Here's a video of Sawyer helping sing about Old MacDonald's farm and saying his colors. Its just repeating them for now, but we're working on him being able to identify the color and saying the name of the color.

golf

If you haven't heard, Sawyer is obsessed with golf. We promise we have not pushed this on him. While we don't suggest he is the next Tiger Woods, we do think he's got an impressive swing for a 22 month old boy. This video was shot in the back yard recently. It was really sunny that day, so the video is a bit overexposed, but hopefully you can make it out.

When GG and Papa visited at the end of May, Sawyer had a great time playing Ring Around the Rosie with them.

On Memorial Day, we all visited the Toledo Zoo. One of Sawyer's favorite things was seeing the Penguins. GG taught Sawyer how to walk like a penguin.

While we were out on the deck that day, Sawyer and Daddy watched the train go by and then played with Daddy's hat.

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day, we hung low and let Phillip relax and do what we wanted to all day. Saywer helped make breakfast, gave daddy a present (control for the computer so he can player soccer with David and Kyle on-line), and in the afternoon helped Daddy wash cars (Phillip wanted to do this..promise). I guess it was Phillip's way of passing on the Gribble man car wash skills! Another bonus of the day was that he did not have to change a diaper all day long! We finished the day with playing on the slide!

GG and Papa Visit

The Sunday before Memorial Day, GG and Papa visited from N.C. We took advantage of being off work and took Sawyer to the zoo. He loved it! The favorites were the elephants and the penguins. We were lucky that the elephants were getting their baths so Sawyer was able to see them up close.

He also really enjoyed the carosoule ride. He rode it once and when the ride was complete he started to whine and say "more horse". Papa gave him another dollar! After the zoo we went to a restarutat that is TRAIN themed. Nothing fancy, but your food comes out on a little train.

Sawyer thought that was the greatest!He is still a HAM and loves to smile for the camera. He also enjoys hearing monkey sounds and pulling his ears like a monkey (thanks Travis :) ) He will say "ooh-oo" !

Where have we been

Where has the time gone? We have been slack about updating the blog. SORRY:) Sawyer is changing so much. He is repeating everything you say, loves to climb, golf and loves trains! One of his newer "toys" that he enjoys playing with is the guitar (aka "Tar")
