HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Sawyer is an elephant this year for Halloween. We took some pictures in his custom with his pumpkins. He did not like the hood part of the costume, but we managed to snap several photos of him happy. We are not taking him out trick-or-treating (well maybe to a few neighbors). We are going to give out treats to all the children at our house.

Sawyer and daddy are going to spend some more quality time together this week as Jammie is leaving for a continuing education course near Chicago Wednesday afternoon until Friday night. The next weekend we are head to Charleston, SC for Jammie's college roomates wedding. The N.C. Gribble's are headed over to babysit Sawyer.

This past weekend we went to a Fall Harvest Party at our chuch. Add ImageMommy and Sawyer sure looked sweet in their fleeces. Sawyer looked the cutest, but so grown up in his fleece, jeans, and hiking boots.

Boys Trip to NC

Sawyer and Daddy flew to NC to visit family and friends in the South when Daddy had a few days off for fall break. Unfortunately, Mommy couldn't come because she had to work, but she wished us well and stayed behind and got lots of projects done that were easier to do without us around. She got caught up on her scrapbooking for Sawyer and re-organized the attic, which is her craft room.

While in NC, Sawyer learned the finer points of working with blocks from his Aunt Bethany.

We visited his Great Grandmother Gribble in Salisbury where we enjoyed a nice fall afternoon outside in her yard.

One night, Sawyer treated everyone to outstanding piano concert after dinner. Unfortunately, we don't have pictures of his unique techniques, which include playing with his knees and his butt!

We were also very honored to be a part of Lucy Dyer's first visit to Rural Hall. Lucy and her parents, Gray and Heather, drove up from Charlotte for the afternoon.
They were doing a test drive for their upcoming trip when they will be driving to Massachusetts to visit Heather's family. According to Sawyer's Papa, it was important for Sawyer to be able to start spending some time with his future bride.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone down there again at Thanksgiving!
